Monthly urban exploration on a combination of gravel and paved paths and roads. This ride is open to all Sorellas, fellas and friends and is beginner friendly. The terrain is suited for a fat tire or gravel bike, making for a more social pace. <br /><br />December&#39;s ride will be a Short &amp; Sweet Ride up the Eastside. From Maynard Jackson High School, (MJHS) we&#39;ll take the paved Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail up to Piedmont Park. Once we reach the park, we’ll hop on a combination of gravel &amp; paved sections as we head north to Armour Drive/Sweetwater Brewery before taking the same route back to MJHS. <br /><br />This ride will be multi-surface. The majority of this ride will be paved but there is an approx 3 mile section of unpaved Beltline along the Eastside Trail. <br /><br />The Eastside trail can get very crowded so bring your smiles and expect starts &amp; stops. <br /><br />Distance is approx 15 miles RT w/ options for additional miles if desired.
