About this event

Come unwind after work on a lap (or two!) around the singletrack at Sope Creek. The traditional loop at Sope is about 7 miles of moderately technical singletrack, consisting of Upper & Lower Loops which can be lapped, plus a few miles warmup/cooldown on gravel. Expect occasional areas with rocks, roots, and steep but short climbs/descents. No feature is large or dangerous, but expect small step ups and drops ~6-12in. The trails are some of the flowiest and fun in the ATL metro, and the beautiful views of the Chattahoochee at sunset cannot be beat. Bring lights since it gets dark in the woods!

Laura tends to keep a moderate pace (8-10 mph) and moving time ~1.5 hours (see sample ride below), but will adjust the pace and duration as desired! Sample ride: htthttps://www.strava.com/activities/9933935604ps://www.strava.com/activities/9933935604

Non-sorellas and fellas welcome

Registration preferred so I know how to tailor this ride! Feel free to contact me in advance if you have any questions about the ride, trails, etc.

Who is this ride for? All levels welcome! While the singletrack at Sope does have a little bit of technicality, Laura is happy to cater this ride to anyone beginner+ through advanced, who is hoping to get out on their mountain bike and have a fun time on the trails. Depending on the group and preferences, this ride could be anything from a fun skills session for newer riders to a hard workout with intervals for more advanced riders.
