About this event
This version of the Groovy Gravel Grind will be a bit longer than our past ride. If you are ready to challenge yourself a bit more to go a little longer, please join us! This will still be a no drop ride. We will be starting at 8 AM to try and beat the heat! So make sure you check and see how long it will take you to drive there so that you will be ready to ride!
This will be about 36 miles in length, average speed 12 MPH, and should take between 2 and 3 hours. This will be a casual pace. If you have ridden a fair amount of gravel you should enjoy the challenge of this ride.
We will make a bathroom stop at The Shed at Fitzgerald Fruit Farms. They also have some snacks and drinks. But bring plenty of your own as well.
Lunch
We plan to grab lunch afterwards at the Towerhouse Farm Brewery for those who can hang around.
Parking
For parking, map yourself to the Towerhouse Farm Brewery, address: 18736 GA-85, Gay, GA 30218 and there is a parking area across the street (Caldwell Road). There is a bathroom at the nearby gas station.
Be ready to roll at 8 AM! (It is a bit of a drive so be sure to leave yourself plenty of time.)
