What is this?
Monthly urban exploration on a combination of gravel and paved paths and roads. This ride is open to all Sorellas, fellas and friends and is beginner friendly. The terrain is suited for a fat tire or gravel bike, making for a more social pace.

January's ride will take us to a Secret Trail on the Westside.

From Maynard Jackson High School, we'll take the Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail heading west over to the PATH foundation’s very first trail, the Lionel Hampton Trail, an unspoiled hardwood forest w/ multi-use trail. Once we reach the Lionel Hampton Beecher Hills Nature Preserve, we’ll hop off the paved trail for a short, relatively flat unpaved loop along the North Utoy Creek bed. There will be longer, steeper options for those craving single-track.

This ride will be multi-surface. The majority of this ride will be paved but there is an approx 3 mile section of unpaved Beltline along the Southside Trail as well as unpaved extensions in the Nature Preserve.
