Join us for a groovy day on gravel at Hurricane Shoals (AKA intro to intermediate puppy ride)! We will ride about 30 miles at a casual pace, no drop, and then grab lunch afterwards for those who can hang around. Be ready to roll at 9 AM.

Who is this ride for?
If you have been doing the Gentle Gravel Grind at Dirty Sheets on a regular basis, then this is the perfect additional monthly ride for you! It will be similar to the Gentle Gravel Grind, just a bit longer at 30-miles, but still a casual, fun, no drop ride.

We will stop for lunch afterwards at Gringos, which is about a 10 minute drive away.

Key things:

  • Bring enough to drink, it's a longer ride (2 and a half ish hours). You'll likely want 3 bottles (middle jersey pocket works well for the 3rd) or 2 bottles and a Camelbak - there will not be a store stop! Bring what you need!
  • Bring SNACKS - you will need to eat (or drink) calories.
Park in the lot just outside of Hurricane Shoals park, on the corner of Hurricane Shoals Road and Cemetery Road. Parking fee is $5, cash only!
