21-mile route, aiming for 14-15 mph. This weekly ride is a great ride to improve your climbing skills and step outside of your comfort zone with a supportive group of women. The ride is a mix of social (between the hills) and hard (4-5 pretty good) climbs. We will regroup at the top of the climbs. This ride is designed for experienced riders, comfortable riding in a group, with some light traffic on hills. After the ride there is a group that usually grabs dinner at nearby local restaurant.
Who wouldn’t enjoy a Sunday afternoon ride w/friends that ends up at Reformation Brewery (our newest sponsor)? On this 25 mile loop expect some sweeping downhills, a nicely graded extended uphill and some rolling industrial boulevards along a bike path. The group will stay together, or have a second group with a sweeper. There are a few tricky dogleg turns which will be monitored. Riders should be comfortable riding 2+ hours, moderate pace climbing, and know how to ride in occasional traffic. Beer/seltzer (for sale) afterward at Reformation; barbeque available next door. Bathroom available before and after.
We will establish this as a regularly scheduled ride after these two test rides March 4 and April 7.
Registration is recommended. Sorella friends and (slow) Fellas welcome.

Ready to leave the (relative) flats behind and head up into the mountains? If you think you do, but want to give it a go in a friendly, no drop environment? Then this is FOR YOU! Join Saskia as she hits up one of the friendliest gravel climbs in the GA mountains.
Please join Betsy for this Intermediate Road ride leaving out of Chattahoochee Hills along the Silk Sheets route. The first ride will be a 30 to 35-mile portion of the route and we’ll gradually add mileage throughout the winter & spring so the final days will be the full 51-mile route. There are no steep hills on this ride, just constant smooth long rollers, about ½ a foot/mile average. The pace will be about 16 mph and we’ll be focusing on maintaining endurance fitness and improving group riding skills, such as: pace line, gear selection, climbing & descending, techniques for riding in the wind & rain.
Adv Beginners who are looking for a challenge are welcome, but the expectation is that you have some pace line experience to build from. There will be no breaks during the ride, so bring adequate supplies.
Meet just before the Halsa Restaurant in Serenbe, 11090 Serenbe Ln, Chatt Hills, or park around the corner on Prom Road toward the (pink) pool building. We’ll be heading over for lunch afterward at the Halsa. Wheels up at 10:00. Please check FB & this calendar for possible start time changes or cancelations due to weather. Route will be posted prior to the ride. PLEASE download the route.
