Jarrod‘s Place is Georgia‘s very own bike park! With a shuttle service to take you to the top so you can spend more time enjoying the downhill. There are plenty of green, blue and black runs to keep a variety of skill levels entertained, but you will need to be at least intermediate and a full suspension mountain bike is recommended, which can be rented there.
1956 Eugene Gunby Rd, Marietta, GA 30067
Join Laura for a loop around Sope Creek/Cochran shoals on the 3rd Tuesday evening every month. Laura is very experienced and excited to share hints and tips to mountain bikers of all levels or simply cruise around!
E. Rivers Elementary School
21-mile route, aiming for 14-15 mph. This weekly ride is a great ride to improve your climbing skills and step outside of your comfort zone with a supportive group of women. The ride is a mix of social (between the hills) and hard (4-5 pretty good) climbs. We will regroup at the top of the climbs. This ride is designed for experienced riders, comfortable riding in a group, with some light traffic on hills. After the ride there is a group that usually grabs dinner at nearby local restaurant.
Join us for a groovy day on gravel at Hurricane Shoals (AKA intro to intermediate puppy ride)! We will ride about 30 miles at a casual pace, no drop, and then grab lunch afterwards for those who can hang around. Be ready to roll at 9 AM.
Floyd Rd. trailhead/Comet Trail Cycles
Starting from Comet Trail Cycles/Floyd Ride (mile 4.2) this ride is an out and back on the flat Silver Comet Trail. Target distances are 22, 32 and 54 miles – but with an out and back route you can easily adjust to the distance that will work for you. The ride is open to Sorellas, fellas and friends, and is definitely beginner friendly. Be ready to roll at 9:00 AM.
