21 mile route with about 1,550 ft of elevation aiming for 14+mph. This bi-weekly ride is a great way to start the week strong with great intervals and some climbing. This ride is a fun mix of different energies: social on smaller roads, hard on hills and focused/single file on busy stretches. We will regroup at regular intervals to accommodate different paces. It is a great ride for intermediate and experienced riders and requires group riding skills. This is a women’s focused ride but open to Sorella’s fellas and friends who are comfortable riding at Sorella group pace.

21-mile route, aiming for 14-15 mph. This weekly ride is a great ride to improve your climbing skills and step outside of your comfort zone with a supportive group of women. The ride is a mix of social (between the hills) and hard (4-5 pretty good) climbs. We cover ~1,880 feet of elevation gain. We will regroup at the top of the climbs. This ride is designed for experienced riders, comfortable riding in a group, with some light traffic on hills. After the ride there is a group that usually grabs dinner at nearby local restaurant.
Riders who want a relaxed ride with friendly pacing — join Valerie for this 2x/month no-drop ride. This ride is ideal for newer riders who can handle 8-12 miles and returning riders rebuilding fitness. Pace: conversational, light regrouping at hills; occasional steady efforts on short climbs. Warm, inclusive, low-pressure.
No bike lights needed — the Beltline is lighted and we’ll finish as the sun sets. Special/interesting course features: Fully paved, traffic-protected path with chill west-side city vibes (not overly crowded like the eastside), scenic spots and public art, smooth cruising, and an easy sunset finish. Meet at 6:45 for a 7:00pm start. Park on the side street Brookline. After the ride the group can choose to go for food and drinks at the Lee + White restaurants and breweries on the Beltline near Bearings.

Join Christine for 6 miles of mountain bike trails at Road Atlanta. These are private trails built by Fox Factory for youth mountain bike teams. They are fun and flowy trails that only open to the public a few times a year. There is a required $5 minimum donation, with 100% of the proceeds going to local middle & high school mountain bike teams. The event takes place from the field out front and not inside the track. We will probably ride 2 laps, with the option to bail after 1. We will meet at the trail parking, which is a dirt lot next to the racetrack (paved) lot. When you turn into the main lot, turn right and drive into the gravel/dirt parking area.
Join us for a fun-filled day of riding, eating and socializing at the Ride and Picnic! There will be MTB, road and gravel "no drop" rides on offer in two categories: Medium and Spicy. Refer to the website at Ride Info for descriptives on the different categories. Routes will be shared closer to the event for download. Ride times will be 2-2.5 hours. Please bring a food item to share for after the ride! This is always a fun and popular event for the club. We will be raffling off a Ninja MTB skills class, Tifosi‘s and some other smaller items during the potluck picnic. Members are welcome to bring a female guest. The more the merrier! There is a $5 parking fee, payable at kiosk at entrance to the park. Bathrooms are open now, as well.

Fun filled weekend of playing bikes and paddling on Lake Harding. Friday night will kick off with an evening paddle on the lake - stand up paddle, kayak or canoe (that won‘t tip over). Saturday we will be mountain biking on the Standing Boy trails nearby. (But if there is enough interest, Teresa can arrange for a gravel ride leader for anyone not wanting to mountain bike.) Early morning and afternoon we will have more time to get on the Lake. Saturday night will be a short and easy ride on the Riverwalk trail to watch fireworks and a concert at Fort Moore (bring lights and a small chair or towel to sit on + a backpack to carry these items on your bike). Early Sunday morning we can get back on the lake and then take an Easy gravel ride from Teresa‘s house before heading home.
The weekend menu will be pot luck - everyone please bring food to share. Teresa will send out a sign-up sheet closer to the event.
Teresa has plenty of beds but please bring your own sheets and towels.
